Notre Dame de Paris is a musical adaptation of Victor Hugo's novel, with the same title. The musical follows the story of the gypsy dancer Esmeralda and the three men who compete for her love: the kind hunchback Quadimodo – who is the bell ringer for the cathedral, the twisted priest Frollo, and the unfaithful soldier Phoebus who happens to be engaged to Fleur-de-Lys.
Since its theatrical debut in 1998 in Paris, this show has performed in over 15 countries and has been translated into 6 different languages. Over 10 million tickets has been sold worldwide and currently holds the Guinness World Record for the most successful first year of any musical ever.
Notre Dame de Paris performed a total of four successful performances at Forum de Beyrouth from July 10 to 13.
